Chicken Fried toothpaste? Even though it was announced on April 1….this is not an April fools joke…..it is the real thing. KFC just launched its own toothpaste. It is inspired by its 11 herbs and spices….but no
fluoride. They say it’s like biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC
Chicken, and promises a thorough teeth cleaning. The Fast food
giant teamed up with Hismile…..a company known for crazy
toothpaste flavors. The “finger licking good” toothpaste lists for
$13 a tube and you can even get a matching electric toothbrush
for $59. There’s no word on how many dentists out of 10 would
recommend it…
- The Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups in a day? Truett Hanes successfully completed 10,001 pull-ups…in one day…. to secure the title.
- Happy 42nd Birthday to Bubbles the Chimpanzee. You remember Michael Jackson’s monkey… Bubbles spends time painting and hanging out with other chimps…and occasionally spits at strangers to gauge their reactions.
- Tomorrow there will be a huge festival that will definitely make the kids happy. The North Alabama Zoological presents a Kid’s fest
tomorrow from 9-4 at Calhoun Community College. Vendors, food trucks and ambassador animals. The first 500 attendees will get a
goodie bag. - If fireworks and baseball make you happy….its Trash Pandas opening weekend….and there will be Fireworks tonight and
tomorrow night. Then on Sunday….Pre game autographs and free
Fleece blankets for the first 1500 adults.

Originally from Rock Falls, Illinois, Abby has been in radio for almost 30 years, and in the Huntsville market her entire career, with the last 16 at Mix 96.9. She started out as the midday host for the first 9 years, and has since transitioned into host of the morning show.
Abby loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids, and her beautiful granddaughter – eating at her favorite Mexican restaurant and most of all shopping for shoes! Her favorite vacation destination is the beach! One thing she couldn’t live without…a good cup of coffee anytime of the day!
About Bill:
Being from Connecticut, Bill is a huge New England Patriot fan! His career in radio began there and has taken him through Massachusetts, Central Pennsylvania…and along the journey, he’s met some pretty cool people – Sting, Van Halen, Aerosmith, TobyMac, Lauren Daigle and more!
Bill and his wife have three kids, two of which attend the University of Alabama Huntsville, and they all definitely take advantage of the fact that his ears “are shot”!
As the Mix 96.9 Morning Show Co-Host and “Traffic Guy”, Bill adds his quick wit and humor to the morning show along with making sure you know everything you need to know in order to get to and from work safely Monday through Friday morning and afternoon.
When not hanging out in the Mix 96.9 studio, he and his wife take advantage of all the great sights and sounds, and, of course, the local food scene in and around the Huntsville area!
